The Nuevo Complejo Fronterizo Los Libertadores, located at 3,200 meters in the Andes Mountains, is a key border crossing between Chile and Argentina, experiencing heavy traffic. To meet the Ministry of Public Works’ requirements for the Operation and Maintenance stage, the concessionaire needed a robust digital solution to efficiently manage the maintenance of the three main buildings. The challenge was to integrate BIM technology into daily management processes to streamline asset tracking, maintenance, and updates.
After a thorough evaluation process, the concessionaire selected YouBIM to manage the complex’s asset lifecycle.
BIM Model Evaluation & Adaptation: Collaboration with the BIM Unit ensured that Autodesk Revit models were properly adjusted to meet Operation & Maintenance standards.
Preventive Maintenance Implementation: A structured plan was developed with the maintenance team to optimize asset management across all buildings.
Training & System Migration: The concessionaire’s team was trained on YouBIM, enabling them to update models as needed. Additionally, the migration to the New Interface provided a more modern and user-friendly experience.
